Additional Incentives

Participating customers received a $25 gift card at the end of both the winter and summer seasons in which they participated in the managed charging program.

Managed Charging Program

While the rebate program has ended, it’s possible that the managed charging aspect of the program may still be active. Managed charging helps balance the electrical grid by adjusting charging times and rates based on overall electricity demand. This can lead to more efficient energy use and potentially lower electricity costs for participants.

Future Prospects

Although the rebate program has closed due to lack of funding, AES Indiana may introduce new EV-related programs in the future. Customers interested in EV charging solutions should periodically check the AES Indiana website or contact their customer service for updates on any new or upcoming programs.
