The National Grid Contractor EV Charging Program in New York is an initiative designed to support the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. - Starting Q4 2024, Energy Storage Systems and Load Management Software/Hardware will be eligible to apply for along with the make-ready application.
- Customers must apply and be accepted into the program.
- Only approved contractors registered with Joint Utilities of NY can be used.
- Chargers must be selected from the approved charger list maintained by Joint Utilities. The list can be viewed here.
