PSE Up and Go Electric for Public Charging from Puget Sound Energy – WA

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) in Washington offers the PSE Up and Go Electric for Public Charging program to expand the availability of public EV charging infrastructure. The program provides prescriptive rebates for customer-owned Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers (DCFC) and a turnkey option for PSE-owned chargers. Higher incentives are available for customers who directly serve and/or benefit named communities through the Empower Mobility Incentive. Participants must install a separate, dedicated meter for customer-owned chargers and agree to operate the equipment for 10 years for PSE-owned chargers.

  • To be eligible for Empower Mobility incentives, fleet customers or the EVSE installation site must directly serve and/or benefit named communities, which can include both highly impacted communities and vulnerable populations
  • Rebate Details: Lesser of $4,000 per Port OR 100% of Project Cost
DCFC – Customer-Owned Option – Empower Mobility Incentive

  • Customers will install, own and maintain all EVSE
  • Customer must install a separate, dedicated meter
  • To be eligible for Empower Mobility incentives, fleet customers or the EVSE installation site must directly serve and/or benefit named communities, which can include both highly impacted communities and vulnerable populations
  • Rebate Details: Lesser of $80,000 per Port OR 100% of Project Cost
Level 2 – PSE-Owned Turnkey Option
  • Rebate Type: Turnkey
  • PSE will take care of planning, design, installation and maintenance of EVSE, including covering most utility infrastructure and facility upgrades necessary to complete the installation, up to 100% of project cost
  • Customer must agree to operate equipment for 10 years
  • Rebate Details: Custom rebate up to 100% of Project Cost
DCFC – PSE-Owned Turnkey Option
