Federal EV Charger Tax Credit by US Federal Gov’t – WA
The US Federal Government offers the Federal EV Charger Tax Credit, also known as the 30C tax credit, to encourage the installation of EV charging infrastructure across the country. The program provides tax credits for both residential and non-residential installations, covering a portion of the costs associated with EV charging stations, necessary equipment, and installation.
The tax credit is available from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2032. To qualify for the credit, chargers must be located in approved “census tracts” as defined by the IRS.
